Project ‘TV Visjon Norge’ 

TV Visjon Norge is a Norwegian Christian television channel founded in 2003. It is the first Scandinavian Christian television channel that broadcasts 24 hours a day.

For this client, D&MS has built a state-of-the-art solution tailored for religious productions. Two OB Vans have been delivered to TV Visjon Norge. The vans can be used independently as 4- or 6-camera units and can also be combined into a 10-camera unit.

For this channel, two vehicles have been built – a 4-camera HD audio van and a 6-camera HD video van, including air conditioning and an auto-level system. Additionally, a third support van has been developed to provide assistance to the aforementioned vans.

        Challenge

        LATEST TECHNOLOGIES, ACCESSIBLE ON ANY TERRAIN

        The major challenge was to build two small OB Vans that could function independently with all the necessary facilities on board. When these vans come together, they should form a ‘larger’ van where one serves as an audio van and the other as a video van. To save costs, existing hardware had to be utilized.

        Solution

        An Ergonomic & state-of-the-art design

        The designers at D&MS worked closely with HBI Bedrijfswageninrichters and the operators of TV Visjon Norge to achieve an ergonomic and state-of-the-art design.

        The project was carried out under the supervision of a D&MS project manager, who ensured that the entire process was professionally monitored and the project was executed according to ISO standards.

        Collaborating with the engineers of TV Visjon Norge, D&MS’ installation team developed the broadcast system design and subsequently wired and installed it.

        Delivery according to schedule

        D&MS, together with our partners, delivered the project to TV Visjon Norge according to schedule and on time in August 2020.
